I am actively involved at my school by serving in National Honor Society, Junior Achievement, John Tyler Power-lifting, Track/Field, and the school's Mascot. I live and breathe John Tyler and my favorite quote is "It can't be sunny without a little rain". Again Welcome to our web-page and showing interest in our organization.

Hello, I am Chakari Knighton. I am currently the Student Council Vice President. I also serve as a member in multiple organizations including National Honor Society, Senior Leadership, AVID, and holding a position as Social Officer for the Brigadettes Drill Team. Hello, it brings me with great pleasure to serve this year as the Parliamentarian for John Tyler Student Council. I am a Senior student at John Tyler High School while attending most of my classes at the district's Career and Technology Center (CTC). I am involved in various organizations such as Tyler Young Life, CTC Ambassadors, Chick Fil A Leader Academy, Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE), serving as the Flag Lieutenant for Lion Guard, and many others. I look forward to another prosperous year at John Tyler and Tyler ISD. Hello, my name is Montserrat Gamez and the current Secretary for Student Council. I am a senior at John Tyler HS and I am involved in several organizations. I am a part of AVID, Varsity Orchestra, Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, The Locker, Texas Bank and Trust Student Board, and Keep Tyler Beautiful Youth Advisory Committee. My roles in two of the organizations consist of being the President of Emerging Leaders PC and Executive Council of National Honor Society. I am extremely proud to be in Student Council and to be a JT Lion!

Welcome to our Student Council webpage! My name is Jalah Brown and I am the Treasurer for Student Council. I take great pride in John Tyler by representing multiple organizations such as National Honor Society, Senior Leadership, and the Brigadettes Drill Team. I serve as Historian for NHS and Line Sergeant on the Brigadettes. I am also involved in church and the community as well. I am Tamia Isabell, one of the Historians for Student Council. I love my school and I am proud to be a John Tyler Lion. I am currently the Captain of the Varsity Cheer Squad, a member of Senior Leadership, The Locker, National Honor Society, and Emerging Leaders. With this being my last year in high school, I hope to make great memories, everlasting friendships, and good grades.
